Our client, founded in 1999 and based nearby Utrecht, is a successful ICT service provider, specialized in the design, development and management of innovative data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. Based on a standardized data warehouse framework they bring their solutions to the market as software as a service. These solutions range from performance management and marketing applications, to web analytics and online scoring. Their client base consists of midsized organizations in various business segments like finance, logistics, petrochemicals and retail. Our client provides its solutions based on projects exclusively, using the latest technology available.

One of these leading technologies is the Netezza TwinFin™ appliance, combining storage, processing, database and analytics into a single system that delivers 10-100x the performance, at one third the cost of other data warehouse and business intelligence approaches. Our client is the exclusive reseller of this product in the Netherlands.

To sustain further growth in the Netezza segment, our client is looking for a parttime Sales Data Warehouse Appliances (3 days a week).

As a Sales DWH Appliances you:

• Will be responsible for all sales-related tasks in respect of the Netezza product line within the Netherlands
• Will proactively develop relationships with prospects and leads
• Will generate and follow up on prospects and leads
• Will work closely with and report to the sales manager of our client, to make sure the overall business objectives are met

This position requires you have/are:

• A senior sales professional
• A background in sales of BI solutions (both hard- and software)
• An extended network of relevant business contacts within the top200
• A firm understanding of the architecture and features of parallel high performance DWH appliances
• Affinity with data warehousing and business intelligence
• The ability to operate self-directed and proactive on (given) tasks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to close a deal
